Roles & responsibilities

managing a company's financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Their responsibilities include recording transactions, maintaining accounts payable and receivable, performing reconciliations, and assisting with audits

• Junior Accountants meticulously record and summarize financial transactions, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintaining Accounts Payable and Receivable:They manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and oversee accounts receivable, tracking outstanding payments.
• Preparing Financial Statements:They assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Performing Reconciliations:Junior Accountants perform reconciliations, such as bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations, to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assisting with Audits:They support senior accountants during audits, gathering necessary documentation and providing assistance.
• Month-End and Year-End Close:They assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all necessary financial transactions are recorded and reconciled.
• Payroll Processing:They may assist with payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation and payment of salaries.
• Maintaining Financial Records:They maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, using accounting software and other tools.
• Tax Compliance:They may assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Compliance:They ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulations, and assist with internal control procedures.
• Reporting:They compile weekly and monthly financial reports and may assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual reports
• Supporting Senior Accountants:They support senior accountants with various accounting tasks and projects
