Role Responsibilities Raw Material Management Maintain RM stock and inventory optimally and ensure availability RM as per production budget Ensure that there are no discrepancies in the stocks, maintain records on receipts and consumption of RM and conduct stock audit jointly with stores manager, escalate any discrepancy in stock on monthly basis Coordinate with utilities and maintenance team for plant equipment upkeep and maintaining zero discharge norms Ensure that quality of raw material used are as per specified RM quality norms RM Quality/ Quantity Plan Vs Actual Inventory Status Production Management Ensure that Quantity of ENA procured are as per Budget Accountable for plant operation as per SOP and WI and notify the process lead for any amendment in SOP Ensure that cost of ENA is not exceeding the Budget Drive production as per budget Monitor and maintain record of all process parameters, Production and plant efficiency, raw material, utilizes consumption on daily basis and explore methods for improvements Ensure FF and water efficiency is as per budget Ensure recovery, FE and DE should be as per budget Ensure that area of plant, cooling tower & ETP are maintained neat & clean Ensure proper gas generation takes place at ETP & all the parameters are as per norms of PCB Ensure that OT in the area is under budget Plan for schedule of activities and execute long/planned shutdown of plant in timely manner Plan for replacement of capital items based on life and performance Plan Vs Actual Wastage % Stoppage due to Maintenance Equipment and process efficiency Equipment efficiency Man-hours lost in Maintenance Quality Ensure that 90% ENA should be produced having sensory quality of 6.5 to 7.0 Analyse treated & untreated effluent as specified in internal and PCB standards and maintain record for same Ensure compliance of each clause of water & air consent Ensure that fresh water and treated effluent is got tested by some authorised (NABL certified) test house on half yearly basis OQI Audit Reports MIS & Documentation Responsible for preparation of MIS and reports pertaining to plant process. Ensure excise records of plant are kept up to date & RD-8 etc. are maintained on daily basis Ensure all SAP entries are done daily Ensure all monthly reports are ready by 2nd of each month Ensure timely submissions of all internal reports and reports to PCB, Excise Maintain record on ENA production, plant efficiency, ENA quality produced on daily bias. Accuracy Adherence to Timelines People Management Lead, guide, direct and monitor the process executives and boiler executives to ensure high quality standards of output and conformance to norms Identify training needs and ensure the employees undergo the same Co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations Engage with external government bodies as required (Pollution Board officials etc.) Plan Vs Actual Man-hours lost due to inadequate skills EHS Ensure that meters are installed on all water lines Ensure that optional use of water is done at plant & there should be savings in purchase quantities of water Lead safety committee meeting of plant, identify and mitigate unsafe conduction in plant Coordinate with EHS team in safety audit, execute corrective action to derisk any gap identified in safety audit Maintain record of water, power, steam and fuel consumption of plant.
