About Role:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience in Elasticsearch to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, a good grasp of backend development, and the ability to design and implement scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Build, scale and maintain various services on the Athos Commerce platform
• Design and develop solutions for business needs on the Athos Commerce platform
• Provide active support and maintenance for existing systems, ensuring uptime and performance.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java

  (Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, Streams).
• Hands-on experience with

  Elasticsearch

  (indexing, querying, optimization, scaling).
• Experience with

  REST APIs, Spring / Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture

  .
• Familiarity with

  databases

  (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience in designing systems / solutions for business problems
• Experience in building highly scalable applications using Java stack
• Product minded engineer with strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively within and outside the engineering team
• Familiar with agile software development process

Nice to have:

• Experience in Hibernate, MySql, Redis, ActiveMQ or Kafka
• Exposure to

  containerization and cloud platforms

  (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  .
• Experience in REST API development
• Experience working in eCommerce and/or SAAS startups
• Experience working with microservices architecture
