Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Knowledge and hands on experience on Java 17 or Java 11
- MUST have strong work experience on Java Streams and Multithreading,
- Working experience on VCS (GitHub, Bitbucket), Databases (Oracle/Olympus), sonar.
- Have working experience on JIRA for tasks such as updates, cloning etc.
- Experience on basic Unix commands using Tectia as well as understanding shell scripts
- Java Frameworks (preferably Spring Boot, Hibernate)
- Development/build tools (Maven, Eclipse, IntelliJ)
- Well versed in development methodologies and the enabling tools and technologies (JUnit, RLM, CI/CD etc.)
- Knowledge of application deployment in to Application Servers / Tomcat
- Knowledge of design patterns and their usage and fitment in a given scenario
- Using build tools TeamCity, Harness will be an advantage
- Microservices experience using Springboot will be an added advantage
Desirable Skills
- Working experience of agile methodologies
- Good knowledge of software development life cycle
- Experience with modern source code management approaches
- Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Independently resolve technical issues, perform task break down and estimation for self and assist team members to perform the same.
- High levels of ownership and commitment on deliverables
- Should be able to interact with client stakeholders to probe a technical problem or clarify requirement specifications
- Provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.
- Work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, and work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.
- Participate and assist in technical training and development of other staff members.
