Roles and Responsibilities :- Experience level – 13+ years of strong Quality engineering experience with automation and manual testing projects Management of QE team : Management & coordination between the individuals involved in the QE projects including The allocation of resources and their management Planning and Execution : Build test plan & test strategy by implementing smart testing strategies and automation testing tools. Further, he needs to make sure, all the planning is executed accordingly. Documentation : Creates a document that contains all the testing issues, test cases, actions taken, and resolutions. Further, the document also contains the problem that may come in the future. Processes : Streamline the testing processes. The ultimate aim should be quality delivery by saving expenses and time. Coordination with Development Team : QE manager coordinates with the lead developer and discusses the open issues. Estimations : Estimation of overall testing time using qualitative & quantitative techniques Technical Skills: • Proficient in programming languages such as Java. • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit). • Experience with automation testing wrt UIs, black box testing, e2e testing, thick client-based application, Web service, APIs (HTTP client, Rest), Selenium Web driver. • Experience with Ansible/Terraform, Kubernetes cluster, Docker based test execution – Basic understanding. • Cloud experience with Azure or AWS would be plus • Good understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)evelopment methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
