JOB DESCRIPTION: The Platform QA Engineer ensures the reliability, performance, and security of the Gen AI platform through comprehensive testing and validation. The role involves creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. This engineer focuses on functional, integration, and performance testing to deliver a robust and user-friendly platform. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Test Strategy & Planning Develop and maintain QA strategies for platform components, including back-end services, APIs, and UIs. Collaborate with product managers and developers to define acceptance criteria. Test Execution & Automation Build and maintain automated test scripts to improve coverage and reduce manual effort. Perform manual testing where necessary, ensuring all defects are accurately documented. Quality Assurance & Reporting Track, analyze, and report on software quality metrics. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of bugs and regressions. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Experience 3+ years of QA or software testing experience, including test automation and CI/CD integration. Familiarity with agile methodologies and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
