Role & responsibilities Empower is currently recruiting an Implementation expert in the SAP Financial Suite. Viewed as a proficient in SAP system implementation and support, this position presents an opportunity to an experienced SAP Business and Configuration professional to take the next steps in their career. As part of our established SAP team, under general direction the successful candidate will design, document, implement and support the SAP Policy Management (FS-PM) and SAP Claims Management (FS-CM) modules. Duties & Responsibilities: Leads the gathering, documentation and analysis of system and business requirements for complex multiplatform applications. Monitors and reviews the work of lower-level staff within assigned projects. Design system solutions, write functional specification documents for various RICEFW objects, perform functional configurations, perform unit testing, coordinate integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and resolve issues reported during hyper-care. Efficiently coordinate with other technical teams (ABAP, Security, Basis, Batch support). Configures and customizes the most complex, multiplatform SAP application modules. Develops and executes test plans for the most complex SAP application modules. Troubleshoots problems and recommends modifications to systems leadership and key stakeholders. Ensure delivery satisfies the system and business requirements. Considered an expert in how in how the SAP Financial Suite integrates between different suite modules, to include feeds to the SAP FI module. Troubleshoot reported system issues and resolve the issues as per priority levels. Train and mentor less experienced SAP analysts. Function as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Complete critical complex project tasks within defined milestones. Make recommendations for project resource requirements to project managers and/or systems leadership. Maintains requirements documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics. Work as on-call support (on rotation basis). Suggest process and system improvements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems or Business or equivalent experience. Minimum of 8 years relevant SAP experience. Hands on configuration experience required and required for this position. Experience in implementation of new SAP enhancements and conversions. The primary function of this role is to support the ongoing FS-PM and FS-CM support and implementation in the system. Will serve as subject matter expert for the SAP for Financial Services Policy Management and Financial Services Claims Management modules. A strong background in Integration with SAP Collections and Disbursements for Insurance FS-CD and Integration with a background in Annuity payment processes. This position acts independently within assigned areas regarding SAP configuration and solution design. ‘Must be able to work with third party Vendors, and address deficiencies immediately and follow through with fixes. Must be able to document, and test each and every test case for detailed unit, regression testing and be able to discuss and have awareness of each phase of implementation. This role will during Implementation and Hypercare must be willing to work IST hours of 09.00 p.m. - 3.59 a.m. Able and willing to support implementation during US Business hours and work these hours on a rotational basis after implementation and post Go-live Hypercare period.
