Position Purpose

The candidate will have the opportunity to work within WMIS as a Java Senior Developer closely with various teams (Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security and Integration) to design & develop solutions aligned with our overall strategy.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Mandatory

• Java 8 and above
• Spring MVC, spring boot & spring batch
• Relational Database systems Oracle, PostgreSQL
• UI framework like Angular 17
• Experience designing, building and testing Java EE applications
• Experience in developing APIs and Swagger specification
• Maintain and develop unit tests using testing Frameworks like JUNIT
• Practical experience with Maven, Jenkins, Git, Serena/Ansible, Sonar etc
• Good Written and oral communication skills
• IDE’s like Eclipse/Intellij
• Good delegation and time management skills
• Problem-solving abilities

Good to have

Experience in Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Microservices

Specific Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering
• 8 to 11 years of hands-on experience as Java Developer

Bachelor Degree or equivalent

At least 7 years
