MumbaiRole SummaryWe’re looking for a hands-on IT Systems & Network Administrator who owns infrastructure end-to-end, drives automation, and disrupts legacy IT operations. This role is critical to keeping our systems fast, secure, and scalable across all sites while enabling engineering teams to move faster.What You Will OWN, DRIVE & DISRUPT

OWN core Linux servers, network infrastructure, and system uptime across all locations, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
DRIVE automation across IT operations, including monitoring, patching, backups, deployments, and routine system tasks.
DISRUPT legacy manual processes by introducing modern tooling (Docker, automation, centralized logging, VPN/firewall automation).
ENHANCE cross-team efficiency by ensuring seamless connectivity between development, operations, and remote teams.
SECURE the IT backbone by proactively addressing vulnerabilities, downtime risks, and network bottlenecks.

What You Must Bring to the Table (Non-Negotiable)

Strong hands-on Linux expertise, confident with CLI, system internals, logs, services, and real-world troubleshooting.
Deep networking knowledge, IP routing, subnets, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and network debugging.
Ownership mindset, uptime, performance, and system health are your responsibility.
Practical troubleshooting ability, diagnose and resolve complex issues under pressure (connectivity, service crashes, hardware faults).
Experience with modern ops tools, Docker, SSH, cron jobs, monitoring tools, and basic scripting (Bash / Python).
Security-first thinking, patching, access control, least privilege, and secure network design.
High accountability & initiative, anticipates issues before users report them.

Strong Docker & containerization skills — build, run, and debug containers with confidence.
Automation expertise — Ansible, Terraform, or advanced Bash scripting to eliminate repetitive admin work.
Monitoring mastery — Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix (dashboards that actually prevent incidents).
Cloud & hybrid experience — AWS, Azure, or on-prem + cloud setups.
Firewall & VPN design — complex, secure network topologies that just work.
Disaster recovery mindset — backups, restores, failover, and recovery planning.
Documentation discipline — clear configs and runbooks so systems don’t live only in your head.
