Job Description

As a Business Development Manager at our company, you will play a key role in driving software sales, focusing on solutions tailored for Logistics and Supply Chain, HRMS, and other vertical sectors. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships. Your primary responsibilities will involve formulating and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, identifying potential clients in relevant sectors, and offering customized software solutions to address their specific business needs. You will be tasked with generating leads through various channels, maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and prioritizing opportunities based on their potential. Client relationship management is a crucial aspect of this role, where you will be required to build strong and lasting relationships with clients and partners. Serving as the main point of contact for client inquiries, you will ensure exceptional customer experiences by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet their requirements. In addition, you will be expected to develop a deep understanding of our software products, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Conducting software demonstrations and providing consultative sales support to prospective clients will be part of your daily tasks. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands is essential in this role. You will be responsible for providing feedback to the product team for software enhancements based on client needs, as well as preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields (an MBA is preferred) and have at least 3 years of experience in software sales, specifically in Logistics, Supply Chain, HRMS, or ERP solutions. A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, along with strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, are required. Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation software, and an understanding of the software development lifecycle and IT project management will be advantageous.
