IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to become a valuable member of our team at an IT service-based company. As an IT Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee various IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a solid background in IT project management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position that requires your availability during US business hours to engage with clients and coordinate project activities effectively. Your key responsibilities will include leading the planning and execution of IT projects, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in partnership with senior management, and creating comprehensive project plans and communication materials. You will be tasked with managing project budget, timeline, and resources to achieve successful project outcomes, identifying and resolving team issues and conflicts, and proactively managing and mitigating project risks. Additionally, you will ensure quality assurance and compliance with project specifications, monitor project milestones and deliverables, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Building strong relationships with team members, clients, and vendors, as well as driving continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies, will be crucial aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in IT project management within a service-based IT company is preferred. Proficiency in project management tools, methodologies, and best practices, with a PMP certification considered a plus, is desirable. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities are essential. Moreover, experience in managing cross-functional teams, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and the flexibility to handle changing priorities and timelines are valuable assets. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, IT infrastructure, software development life cycle (SDLC), and IT service management, as well as an understanding of financial principles relevant to project management, are advantageous qualifications.
