Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our IT team. As a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and closing of various IT projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their career, with a passion for project management and a solid foundation in IT principles. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and management of project plans, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met. Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success. Ensure adherence to Agile framework and methodologies. Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Familiarity with Agile framework and its application in IT projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude. Prior internship or project experience in an IT environment. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Basic understanding of documentation practices and standards in IT.
