Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our IT team. As a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and closing of various IT projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their career, with a passion for project management and a solid foundation in IT principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and management of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.
• Ensure adherence to Agile framework and methodologies.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile framework and its application in IT projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.
• Prior internship or project experience in an IT environment.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
