It Infrastructure Manager

Role & responsibilities

The IT Infrastructure & Projects Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and executing a wide range of IT initiatives across infrastructure, network, security, documentation, and vendor coordination. This role demands a proactive approach to project execution, strong technical acumen, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless IT operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Network Management

• Lead implementation of access points and mobile device management solutions.
• Oversee Azure cloud integration and ensure smooth migration of business-critical applications.
• Manage network upgrades and implement secondary network structures to enhance redundancy.
• Deploy and configure firewalls, ensuring alert systems are in place and zero downtime is maintained.

Security & Surveillance

• Monitor and maintain surveillance systems across critical areas.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and document them accurately.
• Implement intrusion detection and mitigation strategies.

Project Execution

• Drive core IT projects including content management systems, attendance tracking, and business process platforms.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project rollouts and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct proof-of-concept activities and demos for new initiatives.
• Manage asset lifecycle and support onboarding processes including email setup and training.

Documentation & Process Management

• Draft and update IT asset policies and business case documents.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) in alignment with organizational standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT processes and projects.

Vendor & Team Management

• Evaluate vendor performance and manage relationships through regular meetings and negotiations.
• Provide leadership and support to team members, ensuring daily task follow-ups and collaborative problem-solving.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10-20 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network management, and project execution.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, firewall systems, and surveillance technologies.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage vendor relationships effectively.
