IT GRC Deputy Manager / Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced GRC and Cyber Awareness & Training Specialist to lead our cybersecurity education and governance initiatives.

You will play a critical role in shaping our organization’s cyber posture, carrying risk assessment, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and driving impactful awareness programs across all levels. The ideal candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, enthusiasm for knowledge acquisition / training and strong foundation in IT/Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance. This mid-level role is perfect for someone who is ready to work cross-functionally to drive organisation-wide behaviour change and build a security-first culture.

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC):

• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with global frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, DPDPA).
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage third-party risk and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.

Cyber Awareness & Training:

• Design and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness campaigns tailored to different departments and roles.
• Develop training materials, simulations (e.g., phishing), and e-learning modules.
• Measure effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve based on feedback and metrics.
• Promote a culture of security through storytelling, gamification, and DEI-sensitive communication strategies.
• Champion inclusive practices in cybersecurity training and communication.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 8–12 years of experience in GRC, cybersecurity awareness, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management principles.
• Experience in instructional design, adult learning, or corporate training.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Exhibit passion for learning, training and possess a vibrant outlook.
• Knowledge of Project Management will be a strong plus point

Preferred Certifications:

• CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar.
• Security Awareness certifications (e.g., SANS Security Awareness, CompTIA Security+).
• Understanding of GRC tools
• Instructional Design or certifications are a plus.
