IP Analyst II


The Role


  • IP Analyst II is expected to work on Patent prosecution projects for various jurisdictions (US, EP, IN, CN, JP). The analyst is expected to execute Patent prosecution projects, under supervision & training.
  • IP Analyst II is expected to comprehend technically complex subject matter in simple form and craft convincing arguments to defend Patent matters, as per laws & regulations of various Patent offices across jurisdictions.
  • IP Analyst II is expected to develop comprehensive product & domain knowledge and demonstrate its utilization in work products.
  • IP Analyst II is expected to work closely with engineers and demonstrate effective communication skills to clearly understand the technology & business requirement in quick time and utilize the same during execution of work products.
  • IP Analyst II is expected to triage amongst multiple projects in demanding situations & meet deadlines.


Qualifications

  • Engineering background |

    Bachelors or Master of Engineering in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automotive/Robotics/Aeronautical/Industrial etc.

  • 2-4 yrs.

    of prior experience in IP industry.
  • Prior experience of handling some prosecution projects for any jurisdiction (IN or US or EP) | Basic claim drafting skills
  • Good understanding of Patent laws.
  • Strong technical acumen | Capability to understand & comprehend technology & engineering concepts.
  • Clear & thoughtful communication and ability to demonstrate results with conviction.
  • Good articulation & presentation skills | Expertise in working with MS-Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
