About the Role

The VP/SVP – Investment Banking (Pharma & Healthcare) will be responsible for originating, executing, and managing investment banking transactions within the Pharma, Healthcare, and Life Sciences sectors. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry relationships, strategic understanding of the sector, and proven experience in M&A, Private Equity, and Capital Market transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Origination

• Identify and originate new business opportunities across the Pharma, Healthcare, Hospitals, Diagnostics, MedTech, and Life Sciences verticals.
• Build and maintain senior-level client relationships (CXOs, promoters, PE/VC investors).
• Develop a strong deal pipeline aligned with the firm’s investment banking strategy.

2. Deal Execution

• Lead end-to-end execution of transactions including M&A, private equity fund-raises, IPOs, QIPs, and structured finance deals.
• Manage due diligence, valuation, financial modeling, and preparation of pitch materials, IMs, and transaction documents.
• Coordinate with legal, tax, and regulatory advisors to ensure smooth deal closure.

3. Sector Expertise

• Stay abreast of market trends, sector developments, and valuation benchmarks within the Pharma and Healthcare industry.
• Provide sector insights and research-based inputs to internal teams and clients.
• Contribute to thematic reports and knowledge pieces that strengthen Systematix’s positioning in the sector.

5. Financial & Strategic Goals

• Achieve annual origination and revenue targets.
• Strengthen Systematix’s brand equity within the Pharma & Healthcare ecosystem.
