Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and organized Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations across all product categories, including furniture, electronics, home appliances, and utilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail inventory management, with the ability to manage stock movement efficiently, minimize discrepancies, and ensure the availability of products in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage the end-to-end inventory process — from goods receipt to dispatch. Maintain accurate records in the inventory management system (IMS) for all product categories. Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and display teams to ensure timely stock replenishment. Conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts; investigate and reconcile discrepancies. Monitor stock movement across departments (furniture, electronics, homeware, etc.). Optimize storage layouts and implement efficient inventory control procedures. Analyze inventory reports to forecast demand and avoid overstock or stockout scenarios. Train and supervise inventory staff and warehouse personnel. Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and audit standards. Oversee delivery scheduling, dispatch operations, and last-mile delivery coordination. Maintain proper delivery documentation and resolve any delivery-related issues with customers or logistics partners. Collaborate with the merchandising team for seasonal promotions and inventory planning. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. 4–6 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management in the retail industry (furniture, electronics, or general merchandise preferred). Proficiency in inventory software such as Tally, Zoho Inventory, or equivalent ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage high SKU volume across diverse product categories. Excellent communication and team management skills. Experience in stock valuation (FIFO/LIFO), demand forecasting, and inventory KPIs.
