Job Summary Chera Home Junction is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrician) to oversee and manage the electrical systems across our retail facility. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment. An active HT License is mandatory for this role. Key Responsibilities Perform regular inspection, testing, and maintenance of all electrical systems, including lighting, distribution boards, and wiring. Manage HT power systems, transformers, panels, and ensure compliance with safety norms. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain and repair electrical fixtures, power supply units, UPS systems, and backup generators. Ensure all electrical installations meet regulatory and safety standards. Coordinate with vendors and service contractors for equipment repairs and upgrades. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and report faults to the management. Assist in setting up new electrical systems during showroom expansions or renovations. Support other general maintenance tasks as needed. Adhere strictly to electrical codes, internal protocols, and preventive maintenance schedules. Requirements ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a retail or commercial environment. HT License is mandatory . Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and HT equipment. Familiarity with safety procedures, electrical tools, and testing instruments. Ability to read technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and manuals. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and comfortable with field-based maintenance tasks.
