Job Purpose

Contribute to the development of International sales, marketing, customer retention for the assigned area, product line, market segment with reference assigned customer accounts and achieve sales target.


Role & responsibility

  • Work as a Business developer for African continent
  • Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new develop customers
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
  • Lead a team of sales executives to achieve the target
  • Responsible to generate and pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers, collection, order booking, respond to customer enquiries
  • Identify new opportunities for product development and enhancement to existing products by interacting with sales teams and customers.
  • Evaluate products / solutions, create and maintain product catalogs and support the sales targets.
  • To sell value and advantages of product offerings to customers
  • Proactive, self-directed person and can use your communication skills to ensure we meet our promises to customers, and good public relations, ability to work in difficult areas and have international Sales experience.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.

Partner

· Identify and appoint business partners as and when required. Ensure that the business partners get trained effectively to achieve targets as defined in business projections.


Competitor

· Monitor competitor activities including market share, products and applications

· Analyze competition and market share

Experience

· B.E./ B. tech in Electrical (preferable) / Electronics engineering

· Experience 5-15 years

· Basic knowledge of Electrical engineering and power systems.

· Knowledge on the Sales & Marketing, contract handling and Sales cycle.

· Strong hold on selling through international market, network building.

· Experience of working in bid management.

· Comfortable with technology & engineering environments

· Should have knowledge of Electricity metering & Allied products preferably

· Knowledge of tendering process, order execution, contract handling and sales cycle
