Job Description – Sales & Order Management Executive (Value Added Products) Role Overview:-We are looking for a results-driven Sales & Order Management Executive to manage order booking, customer development, and complaint resolution with a strong focus on value-added products that contribute to higher profitability. This role requires proactive planning, effective customer engagement, and close coordination with internal teams to achieve business targets. Key Responsibilities:-Order Booking & Sales Achievement Achieve monthly order booking targets as per business plan. Prepare and execute order booking plans aligned with budget and management guidelines. Drive order booking in value-added products that yield higher EBITDA. Focus on customer segments buying value-added grades such as 1.4404, 1.4571, 310s, and Duplex. Customer & Grade Development Identify and develop new customers and new product grades. Ensure bookings are in line with the planned growth strategy. Build long-term customer relationships to enhance repeat business. Complaint & Payment Management Ensure timely collection and closure of customer quality complaints. Discuss with plant/customer for early resolution of complaints. Avoid discrepant LCs and ensure compliance in payment terms. Monitor advance payments, CAD, and balance payments to ensure timely collection. Planning & Coordination Prepare monthly sales plans at the start of each month in line with management’s guidelines. Coordinate with plant, finance, and quality teams to ensure smooth order execution and issue resolution. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of steel grades (e.g., 1.4404, 1.4571, 310s, Duplex) and value-added products. Proven ability to achieve sales/order booking targets. Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills. Strong problem-solving ability for handling customer complaints effectively. Understanding of payment terms, LCs, advance payments, and CAD. Good planning, analytical, and communication skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering / Business / Sales & Marketing (or related field). 3–7 years of experience in sales/order booking, preferably in steel or industrial products. Experience in handling value-added products and specialty grades is preferred.
