Role Overview

PWe are looking to engage interns to support the final phase of estimating the District Domestic Product (DDP) for 35 districts of Assam and to contribute to the development of district-level vision documents aimed at helping the state achieve a GSDP of USD 143 billion by 2029–30.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the estimation of District Domestic Product for 35 districts of Assam.
• Support the development of district-level vision documents aligned with Assam’s growth targets.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of economic and administrative data.
• Assist in coordination and communication with government stakeholders.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation. 

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Postgraduate degree or currently pursuing postgraduation in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Statistics, or other relevant fields. 

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Demonstrated report-writing and data interpretation abilities.

Remuneration:

• Based on skills and industry norms. A stipend may be considered for deserving candidates.
