Interior Billing Engineer

*Primary Title:* Billing Engineer (Interior Fit-Out)

A mid-to-large commercial construction and interior fit-out services provider delivering turnkey interior, MEP coordination, and finishes for retail, hospitality, and corporate office projects. We execute on-site delivery, cost control, and client billing across fast-moving fit-out programs in India.

*Location & Work Type:* Beri Khas, Haryana, India — On-site

### Role & Responsibilities

- Prepare, verify and submit monthly bills and interim payment certificates for interior fit-out projects—measure quantities, reconcile with BOQ and drawings, and obtain sign-offs.

- Raise, track and negotiate Variation Orders (VOs); maintain supporting documentation and justification for client approvals.

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Stores and Procurement to reconcile material issues, consumption reports and site measurement records for billing accuracy.

- Maintain billing files—MBs, site measurement sheets, vendor invoices, subcontractor bills—and ensure compliance with contract terms and statutory requirements.

- Perform cost control activities: monthly bill reconciliation, highlight cost variances, and support forecasting of payment milestones and cashflow requirements.

- Liaise with clients, consultants and finance for certification, timely payments, GST invoicing and resolution of billing queries.

*Qualifications*

- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or related discipline.

- Proven site billing experience in interior fit-out projects; comfortable working on on-site fronts with project teams and clients.
