Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Assistant Vice President – Integration Lead to join the Charles River Private Market integration team, where you will spearhead our enterprise integration strategy and execution. This pivotal role blends deep technical acumen with strategic oversight, requiring hands-on expertise in Workato, Python, and modern integration architectures. As a business leader, you will drive innovation, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless system interoperability to support scalable growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and own the enterprise integration vision and roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure integration solutions meet strategic objectives.
  • Lead governance and compliance for integration standards, security, and data integrity.

Technical Ownership

  • Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions using Workato, Python, and API-based frameworks.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of integration workflows, custom connectors, and automation pipelines.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance integration capabilities.

Team & Project Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers and analysts.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for integration initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business units, product owners, and IT leadership to gather requirements and translate them into actionable integration strategies.
  • Present integration performance metrics and project updates to executive leadership.

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in integration architecture and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in Workato, Python, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, data transformation, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Workato certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with other iPaaS tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
