Job Description The AVP of Supply Chain Management (SCM) oversees the entire supply chain, ensuring efficient procurement, logistics, and vendor management to support large-scale solar projects. This role involves strategic planning, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to secure the best value for materials, components, and services, while considering quality, delivery schedules, and vendor performance. Vendor Management Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, evaluating their performance and negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions. Logistics And Inventory Control Manage the flow of materials from suppliers to project sites, ensuring efficient transportation, storage, and inventory management to minimize lead times and costs. Contract Management Oversee contract negotiations and ensure adherence to contractual obligations, including monitoring performance and resolving disputes. Cost Management Implement cost-reduction initiatives and track expenses to ensure adherence to project budgets and improve overall profitability. Supply Chain Optimization Identify areas for improvement in the supply chain, implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times. Project Support Collaborate with project teams to provide timely and cost-effective supply chain support, ensuring successful project execution. Team Leadership Lead and mentor the SCM team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance and professional Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing supply chain Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Engineering, MBA or certificate course in supply chain management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems and supply chain management software. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favorable contracts and manage vendor relationships.
