Job Description

Role Objective:

The AM / Manager – Inside Sales (Export) role supports export sales growth by working closely with Senior Manager - Sales and Business Development. The role is responsible for handling customer communication, preparing quotations and proposals, coordinating order execution and documentation, and ensuring smooth internal coordination. This support enables sales leaders to focus on strategic growth and key customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities


Inside Sales & KAM Support:

Work closely with Senior Manager Sales and Business Development to support export sales activities.

Maintain regular communication with customers and key stakeholders.

Act as a single point of coordination to ensure timely follow-ups and smooth customer handling.


Customer Growth & Business Support:

Support growth of customer base across market segment that we work on.

Track new enquiries, leads, and opportunities and follow up for conversions.

Understand customer requirements such as application needs, volumes, pricing expectations, and service levels.


Product & Business Understanding:

Develop good knowledge of company products and applications, especially packaging solutions such as induction seals, foam liners, and closures.

Clearly explain product benefits and commercial value to customers through emails, presentations, and proposals.


Commercial & Proposal Management:

Prepare quotations, RFQs, and business proposals for new and existing export customers.

Support pricing discussions and negotiations in coordination with Senior Sales and Finance teams.

Assist in drafting and maintaining commercial agreements and customer contracts.


Market & Sales Support:

Collect information on customer markets, competitors, and industry trends.

Support sales forecasting, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management.


Reporting & Performance Tracking:

Maintain sales trackers, CRM data, and MIS reports.

Share regular updates on order status, follow-ups, closures, and challenges with sales leadership.

Track conversion ratios and identify areas for improvement in sales processes.
