Role Overview

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for converting inbound student and parent leads into enrolled clients. This role requires confident communication, a consultative approach, and the ability to drive outcomes over structured Zoom/Google Meet consultations. You will be the first point of human interaction with potential clients and must represent CollegePass with professionalism and empathy.


Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and follow up with warm, inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, webinars, referrals, and events.
  • Schedule and conduct virtual consultations or demos with prospective clients.
  • Present CollegePass services clearly, respond to queries, and build trust through high-quality conversations.
  • Track and manage lead activity using CRM tools and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate closely with academic advisors and operations teams for smooth post-sale handovers.
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly conversion targets.
  • Share structured feedback with the marketing team on lead quality and conversion trends.


Requirements
  • 2–5 years of inside sales, telesales, or B2C consultative selling experience (edtech, financial services, or SaaS preferred).
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Confident conducting virtual meetings and sales calls via Google Meet or Zoom.
  • Familiarity with CRMs like LeadSquared, Salesforce, or HubSpot is preferred.
  • Target-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred).
