Position: Information Technology Consultant Job Location: Delhi Years of Experience: 1-2 years Employment: Freelancer/Part time Roles and Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues. Assist in the planning, setup, and deployment of new software or systems. Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures (e.g., acceptable use, data protection. Implement cybersecurity protocols, antivirus, firewalls, and employee awareness training. Advise on effective data storage, backup solutions, and disaster recovery plans. Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT systems, software licenses, and assets. Prepare reports on IT performance, issues, and improvement recommendations. Qualification and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or specialized certifications (optional but preferred). Strong knowledge of hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS). Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols, firewall configurations, and endpoint protection. Understanding of backup systems, data recovery, and disaster management planning. In-office presence is required twice a week for support, hardware checks, and team coordination. The consultant should be available on Any Desk for 3–4 hours daily for remote support and troubleshooting.
