Job Description

Position: Manager – Design (Solar)

Job Location: Delhi

Experience: 4 – 7 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and develop solar power plant layouts, electrical schematics, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) using AutoCAD.
Conduct feasibility studies, and energy yield simulations using PVsyst.
Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and engineers to deliver cost-effective and technically sound solutions.
Coordinate with third-party designers and consultants for design validation.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and local/state regulations.
Provide technical support during project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Prepare detailed project documentation, technical reports, and design drawings.
Work on HT protection schemes, circuit design, and power evacuation systems.

Qualifications and Requirements:

B. Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
4–7 years of experience in solar power plant design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVsyst (mandatory).
Experience in designing utility-scale ground-mounted solar projects
Strong understanding of HT/LT protection systems, circuit design, and evacuation arrangements.
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
