Information Technology Consultant

As an IT Support Consultant at Varahe Analytics, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to end-users across various projects in India. This short-term contractual position, lasting up to 6 months to 1 year, offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on data-driven 360-degree election campaigns. Your responsibilities will include responding to and resolving hardware and software issues reported by users through different channels such as phone, email, and chat. You will diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, install and update OS software and applications, and provide remote assistance using desktop tools. Additionally, you will manage network devices, administer firewall settings, and document interventions using Google Docs and Sheets. To ensure smooth operations, you will offer end-users timely support for IT-related concerns like login issues, password resets, and account management. Educating users on computer usage best practices and IT policies will be part of your role. Furthermore, you will coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement, manage relationships with service providers, and utilize platform APIs to enhance efficiency in IT processes. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in IT asset management, software/hardware support, and vendor coordination. Strong organizational skills, project management abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors are essential. Proficiency in Tamil is a mandatory requirement for this position.
