Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Consultant located in Kolkata. The IT Consultant will be responsible for providing technical support, consulting, and IT solutions to the organization. Daily tasks will include analyzing and resolving IT issues, implementing technology solutions, and advising on best practices in information technology to improve system efficiency and performance.

Must have knowledge in developing website development, App development, ERP updation Etc. Also have knowledge in system administration of entire organisation.

IT Management:

Maintain all IT equipment: servers, networks, computers, and security systems (like backups and antivirus).

Set up and manage user accounts, passwords, and ensure IT security rules are followed.

Fix daily tech issues and work with outside vendors when needed.

Handle Our Main Software (ERP):

Keep the ERP system running correctly and protect its data.

Work with ERP developers on updates and new features.

Train staff and provide support for the ERP system.

Oversee Digital Platforms:

Work with external developers to manage our website and mobile app (updates, new features).

Make sure the website/app is always available, fast, and secure.

Manage E-Voting:

Set up and run secure electronic voting for club elections and surveys.

Provide support during voting times.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Skills & Experience: What You Need

Education: Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years managing IT systems, networks, and working with vendors.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking, databases, and ERP/POS systems.

Bonus Points: Experience coordinating website/app projects or managing e-voting/digital polling systems.

Soft Skills: Great at communication, troubleshooting, and creating clear documentation.
