As a Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful implementation of SAP S/4 HANA in India by driving localized change management efforts. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring stakeholder alignment, promoting user adoption, and ensuring business readiness. You will collaborate closely with local and global teams to customize change management strategies and materials to suit local requirements while aligning with the overall program. Your key responsibilities will involve implementing a localized change management approach encompassing communications, stakeholder management, training, business readiness coordination, tracking, and end-user support. You will be required to adapt global templates and materials to incorporate local language, cultural nuances, and regional business processes. Building relationships with local leaders and key stakeholders to garner support and facilitate effective communication will be essential. Monitoring and reporting on progress, risks, and user sentiment to the central change management team, while escalating issues when necessary, will be part of your role. Collaboration with functional workstream leads, deployment teams, and business leaders to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruptions will also be crucial. Identifying and addressing resistance to change by handling stakeholder concerns and providing targeted interventions will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining change impact assessments, readiness plans, and stakeholder engagement strategies. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in change management, preferably within SAP S/4HANA or other large-scale ERP implementations. A strong understanding of organizational change methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and training approaches is essential. Experience working in a multinational or cross-cultural environment and the ability to adapt materials and strategies accordingly will be beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to influence stakeholders at all levels. You should also possess the ability to analyze and report on change adoption metrics, risks, and mitigation strategies. Familiarity with tools such as Prosci ADKAR, SAP Enable Now, or similar change management and training frameworks would be advantageous. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field; change management certifications (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) are a plus. Proficiency in the local language, in addition to English, is required. Experience working within supply chain, finance, or commercial functions in the context of ERP transformations will be beneficial.
