Job Summary:
The
Manager, Record to Report
role sits within Walmart’s
Enterprise Business Services (EBS)
organization, which focuses on delivering operational excellence and leveraging technology to optimize financial processes. This position is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process efficiency across multiple business areas.
About the team:
The Accounting Operations Centers of Excellence team is a centralized hub dedicated to optimizing and automating accounting processes, leveraging advanced technologies, and fostering specialized expertise. Its core purpose is to drive innovation and continuous improvement in financial operations, ensuring accuracy in our financial reporting and results.The COE team has specialized teams dedicated to the following business areas across North America segments. Supply Chain, H&W, Financial Services, Merch Services, Compensation & Benefits, Cash & Banking, Ecommerce, and AP/AR.
What You’ll Do
- Drive execution of business plans and projects, removing barriers and ensuring resources for success
- Identify and drive process optimization and automation initiatives to improve financial operations
- Participate in risk management, governance, and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards
- Build strong partnerships across business areas and support strategic initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting operations (GAAP, IFRS, forecasting, controls)
- Experience in process improvement and automation (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma)
- Ability to manage risk, governance, and compliance in a dynamic environment
