As an Implementation Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering seamless post-implementation experiences for enterprise customers. You will work closely with clients to troubleshoot technical issues, configure integrations, and ensure the successful deployment of software solutions. This role involves hands-on engagement with APIs, cloud platforms, and SaaS systems, while collaborating with internal engineering and product teams. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for customers. The position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment that emphasizes customer satisfaction, technical excellence, and continuous learning. Strong communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving are essential to thrive in this role.
Accountabilities:
- Act as the technical subject matter expert for customer onboarding and post-implementation support
- Research, diagnose, and resolve customer issues with minimal oversight, leveraging your expertise in APIs and cloud platforms
- Collaborate with internal Engineering and Product Management teams to escalate issues and provide input on product enhancements
- Build integrations and connections between systems, including custom scripts and one-off programs to facilitate onboarding
- Assist customers with migrating legacy content and configuring features for optimal use
- Maintain accurate documentation, respond to customer queries via Jira or Zendesk, and ensure a high-quality customer experience
- Provide guidance and best practices to clients, fostering positive and empathetic relationships that enhance satisfaction
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in SaaS professional services or technical customer-facing roles
- 3+ years of experience onboarding customers to SaaS platforms
- Strong experience with AWS services and cloud-based applications
- 5+ years implementing integrations between applications via APIs
- Solid technical knowledge of REST API, APEX, JS, CSS, HTML, JSON, XML, SAML, and SSO (e.g., OKTA, AD)
- Experience with SaaS project tools such as Jira, Zendesk, or Teamwork
- Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience migrating data between cloud platforms and/or from on-premise systems to the cloud
- Security certification is a plus but not required
