IC IT Audit Senior Manager

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists to join Flutters Internal Controls Assurance team. We areseekingto hire a talented Internal Controls Senior Manager to join the team. The ideal candidates will have experience working inanITControlsfunction for a major multinational companyor audit firm. The Flutter Internal Controls team is a key part of our governance framework andan important componentof the second line ofdefense.A key Group-wide function, itis responsible forpromotinghigh standardsof internal controlstoreduce financial risk, delivering the annual internal controls testing plan, and providing guidance to the business on what robust controls look like. The roles involve providing an independent opinion on the design adequacy of the control framework and providing objective assurance to confirm that the controls areoperatingas expected.?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit Planning & Execution:

• Planningand execution of internalcontrolstestingplanunder the guidance of IT Controls Assurance Leadin accordance withdefined quality standards and deadlines.

• Liaising with external auditors asrequired.

Team Management:

• Managing the team of Analysts, Senior Analysts and Managersto ensuretheir work is completed on time andsupportingany queries.

• Identification of skill gaps within the team and running formal/ informaltrainingto upskill the team members.

Stakeholder Management:

• Identifying and communicating IT control deficiencies to management along with monitoring of managements responses as well as implementation of agreed remediation plans.

• Continuously communicating with Internal Controls Senior Management on the progress to plan.

• Working with the Internal ControlsLead, internalcontrolscolleagues and Finance / Business Heads, to improve internal controlenvironment.

• Collaborate withthe teams ofother key internal stakeholders whohave ownershipof the processes to be tested, todeliver theInternal Controls planandaddress concerns they may have.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE,YOU NEED TO HAVE

• More than 10-12years ofPCAOB audit experience and experience in a professional services or industry role.

• Experiencedelivering ICFR activitieson aday-to-day basis.

• Good ICFR skills, covering IT processes,areessential.

• Experience of navigating material weaknessorsignificantdeficiency ofremediationisadvantageous, but not essential.

• Some experience of significant finance transformation activities in ICFR or with ICFR impacts, such as a GRC implementation, global process owner deployment, an ERP implementation, or technology enablement of the annual ICFR cycle, isadvantageous, but not essential.

• Experienceinbetting,gaming,or online entertainment businesses isadvantageous, but not essential.

• Experience of Oracle ERP and related Oracle systems isadvantageous, but not essential.

• Delivering the Internal Controls testing and assessments on time.

• Achieving an unqualifiedICFR opinion from the external auditors for theyearended 31 December 2025.

• Maintaining an unqualified ICFR opinion from the external auditors across the period of finance transformation, most significantly in 2026 and 2027.

• Buildingthe foundations for a culture where ICFR is seen as a critical part of the Groups external financial reporting, and whererolescontributing to ICFR are seen to be excellent progression opportunities into more senior finance roles.

• Good project management andorganizationskills, to be able to manage the delivery of one or several workstreams to short-term and long-term deadlines.

• Good managementskillsfor directing the day-to-day activities ofinternaland external support.

• Strong communicationskills, to be able to clearly articulate the status of work and the risks that may cause timetable or cost challenges

• Able tooperatein a fast-paced environment in a management role that is empowered to deliver change.
