Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Overall manpower planning, performance monitoring, discipline, compliance.

Align workforce strength with OB removal targets (shift-wise allocation).
Coordinate between project head, site engineers, and department supervisors.
Monitor absenteeism, overtime, and productivity metrics.
Ensure statutory compliance: Mines Act, labor laws, PF/ESI, safety norms.
Set up grievance redressal system to avoid disputes.
Approve training calendars, disciplinary modules, and performance evaluation.

Skilled workforce hiring + training module execution.

Maintain driver/operator database (license, medical fitness, past performance).
Conduct induction & refresher training (safety, fuel efficiency, machine handling).
Coordinate with OEM/vendors for operator training (e.g., dumpers, dozers, excavators).
Create skill-matrix for drivers/operators.
Schedule weekly toolbox talks with supervisors

Preferred candidate profile

MBA/PGDM in HR or Graduate with 10+ yrs site HR experience in mining/construction.
