Manager-HR

Experience: 8-12 Years

Location: Vadodara

Role Overview

The HR Manager will oversee all HR functions to support the smooth execution of EPC projects across multiple locations (domestic and international). The role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. Additionally, the role includes coordination of travel, ticketing, and visa processing for project employees.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical positions.
  • Develop job descriptions, shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, and finalize offers.
  • Coordinate with project heads for project-specific manpower planning.
  • Maintain talent pipelines for urgent and overseas requirements.

2. Onboarding & Induction

  • Complete joining formalities and prepare employee files.
  • Conduct induction sessions for new joiners.
  • Coordinate deployment and mobilization of employees to project sites.

3. HR Operations & Employee Relations

  • Handle attendance management, leave records, and shift planning.
  • Resolve employee grievances in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure healthy communication between project teams and HR.
  • Conduct periodic site visits for employee welfare checks.

4. Payroll & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, and allowances.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, etc.).
  • Maintain HRMS record accuracy and audit compliance.
  • Experience in SAP S/4 HANA Payroll modules and SPINE HRMS, including payroll inputs, attendance integration, wage types configuration, and end-to-end monthly payroll processing

5. Performance Management

  • Assist in goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisal cycles.
  • Recommend promotions, increments, and training needs.

6. Travel, Ticketing & Visa Coordination (Additional Responsibility)

Travel & Ticketing

  • Arrange domestic & international air tickets for employees as per company policy.
  • Coordinate with travel agencies for booking, re-booking, date changes, and cancellations.
  • Ensure cost-effective travel planning for project mobilization and demobilization.
  • Provide dummy tickets for immigration when required.

Visa Processing

  • Manage end-to-end visa processing for international projects (Africa, GCC, Asia, etc.).
  • Prepare and submit visa documentation including invitation letters, employment letters, medical reports, and attestation documents.

7. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs based on project requirements.
  • Coordinate technical and safety training programs.
  • Maintain skill development records for employees.

8. MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly HR reports (manpower status, attrition, recruitment, visa status, etc.).
  • Maintain project-wise manpower deployment charts.
  • Submit HR dashboards to management regularly.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

  • Experience in SAP S/4 HANA Payroll modules and SPINE HRMS, including payroll inputs, attendance integration, wage types configuration, and end-to-end monthly payroll processing

  • Ability to generate payroll reports, validate data, and coordinate with the finance/IT team for system-related issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree / MBA/MSW in HR or related field.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in HR, preferably in EPC / Construction industry.
  • Experience in overseas project mobilization and visa processing is a strong advantage.
  • Good knowledge of labour laws, HRMS, and payroll inputs.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
