Human Resource Consultant- Chennai

Role & responsibilities

• Provide expertise on an extensive range of human resource activities including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding , performance management, talent development etc.
• Facilitate smooth and timely onboarding of the new joiners; navigate and motivate candidates throughout the entire hiring process. Conduct screening, review documentation as so on.
• Handle grievances of the new joiners and serve as a point of contact for departments in terms of HR concerns, needs and issues.
• Spearhead periodic recruitment drive with utmost enthusiasm.
• Assists departments finding apt and potential candidates by strategically publishing job postings on job portal and social media websites followed by successful closures. Maintain the co-lures base line assigned by the zonal HR manager.
• Maintaining and tracking hiring and attrition patterns and work closely with the RHRs to forecast attrition and strategically create effective hiring plan.
• Work smartly and energetically to drive man power resources through companys employee referral policy.
• Generate employee code (E-code) within stipulated time frame.
• Evaluate employees satisfaction by conducting survey and feedback
• Conduct exit interview of the resigned employees and maintain the feedback for employee retention effort.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate should possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Should be able to maintain his/her calm and demeanor during high work pressure.

Should effectively coordinate with managers and another team member.

Should have at least 2 years of working experience as a Human Resource Consultant.

Should be confident, passionate, energetic and pro-active.

Should possess intermediate level knowledge of using Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Graduate / Post Graduate. Specialization in Human Resources from a reputed university/ institute

Should be an added advantage.

• Should have at least 1-3 yrs. of experience in HR preferably as a Human Resource Consultant or HR generalist
