HR Shared Services Specialist US Operations

You will be joining the Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) team at GlobalFoundries, aligned with the Human Resources vertical. Your role will involve handling various people-related functions such as recruiting, learning, training, onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance management, organization development, and culture. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end employee life cycles, identifying process gaps for improvement, monitoring grievances, resolving subcon queries, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, will be crucial in interacting with global stakeholders. Additionally, proficiency in tools like Workday and ServiceNow, as well as Excel and documentation processes, is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the complete employee life cycle from hiring to exit - Identify process gaps and implement optimization strategies - Monitor grievances and enforce disciplinary policies - Ensure timely resolution of subcontractor queries - Familiarity with Workday and ServiceNow applications - Communicate organizational policies and processes clearly - Proficiency in Excel and documentation processes - Knowledge of HR policies and processes - Ability to meet deadlines effectively Qualifications Required: - Graduate Degree in Business Administration or equivalent - Postgraduate degree or MBA - 4-8 years of relevant experience in HR administration - Preferably experienced in AMS region HRSS (hire to retire) - Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred - Proficiency in English communication (Written and Verbal) - Strong understanding of HR concepts and terminology - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in computer/technical skills; HRIS experience preferred GlobalFoundries is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, believing that a multicultural workplace enhances productivity and innovation while ensuring that employees feel respected and valued.
