: HR Recruiter (Freelance, Remote) — India
About The Opportunity
We are hiring a remote, freelance HR Recruiter to own full‑cycle hiring across India. This is a high‑impact role for a proactive recruiter who enjoys sourcing active and passive talent, managing end‑to‑end recruitment workflows, and delivering an outstanding candidate experience for fast‑moving roles in a growth e‑commerce environment.Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for assigned roles: intake, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, closing offers, and onboarding handover.
- Build and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, Naukri, job boards and Boolean search to create a qualified talent pipeline across India.
- Use Applicant Tracking Systems to track candidates, update hiring stages, and deliver timely status reports to hiring managers.
- Screen and assess candidates for role fit and culture alignment, deliver structured feedback and maintain high candidate engagement.
- Coordinate interview schedules across distributed teams, collect interview feedback, and manage offer negotiation and acceptance logistics.
- Maintain recruitment metrics (time‑to‑hire, pipeline health) and recommend process improvements to speed up hiring and improve quality of hire.
Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have
- Proven experience executing full‑cycle recruitment in India (tech, operations or retail hiring preferred).
- Hands‑on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean sourcing to identify passive talent.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (setup, pipelines, candidate workflows).
- Proven track record on Naukri and major job boards for sourcing and closing candidates across locations in India.
- Strong organisation and stakeholder management—ability to work autonomously in a remote, freelance model.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced hiring cycles and delivering against SLAs for short‑notice requirements.
Preferred
- Prior recruitment experience in D2C fashion, apparel manufacturing or e‑commerce operations.
- Experience with ATS platforms such as Zoho Recruit, Greenhouse or Workable.
- Exposure to hiring volume roles (customer care, logistics, production) and campus/early‑talent hiring.
