Industry: Apparel & Fashion — D2C e-commerce and lifestyle wear. We are a fast-moving retail brand scaling hiring across India to support product, operations, and growth teams. This is a fully remote, freelance recruitment role to help source, engage, and close top talent for distributed teams.
Role:
Freelance HR Recruiter (Remote)Role & Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles across functions — craft job adverts, source candidates, screen, coordinate interviews, and close offers.
- Execute proactive sourcing using LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Boolean search, and passive outreach to build high-quality talent pipelines.
- Manage candidate experience end-to-end: schedule interviews, provide timely feedback, negotiate offers, and ensure smooth onboarding handover.
- Operate and maintain the ATS: update candidate status, run shortlists, and generate hiring reports for stakeholders.
- Partner with hiring managers to refine role profiles, set realistic timelines, and deliver on SLAs against hiring targets.
- Maintain recruitment metrics and share weekly progress updates; continuously optimise sourcing channels and outreach messaging.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment for remote roles across India.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, and Boolean search techniques.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems to manage workflows and reporting.
- Ability to deliver high-volume and niche role hiring while maintaining candidate quality.
- Excellent stakeholder management—aligns hiring needs, timelines, and expectations with hiring managers.
- Self-driven freelance approach with discipline to meet SLAs and deliverables on a remote contract basis.
Preferred
- Prior recruitment experience in apparel, fashion, or D2C e-commerce sectors.
- Familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing for passive talent engagement.
- Experience with video interviewing platforms and basic candidate assessment tools.
