Job Description

Role & responsibilities

HR Operations (3+ Years Experience)

  • Manage

    end-to-end payroll processing

    on a monthly basis, ensuring accurate salary computation, statutory deductions, incentives, arrears, and final payouts within defined timelines.
  • Handle

    attendance, shift, and leave management

    , including regularization, leave approvals, LOP calculation, overtime validation, and reconciliation with biometric/attendance systems.
  • Administer

    statutory compliances

    including

    PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity

    , and ensure timely filings, challan payments, and returns as per statutory norms.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and government authorities for

    PF/ESI inspections, audits, and compliance documentation

    .
  • Process

    employee lifecycle transactions

    such as onboarding documentation, employee master data creation, confirmation letters, transfers, promotions, and salary revisions.
  • Manage

    exit formalities

    including resignation acceptance, notice period tracking, full & final settlement, gratuity processing, experience/relieving letters, and NOC clearance.
  • Ensure

    accurate maintenance of employee records

    (physical and digital) in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Generate and analyze

    HR & payroll MIS reports

    using

    Advanced Excel

    (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, data validation, dashboards).
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports related to

    headcount, attrition, payroll cost, leave balances, statutory compliance, and audits

    .
  • Handle and resolve

    employee payroll and statutory-related queries

    in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work extensively on

    HRMS / Payroll / Attendance Management Systems

    for data accuracy, automation, and process improvement.
  • Support internal and external

    HR audits

    , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely closure of observations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to

    HR policies, SOPs, labor laws

    , and internal control procedures.
  • Coordinate with finance and management teams for payroll reconciliation, cost reporting, and statutory planning.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to

    streamline HR operations

    through system enhancements and process improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education:

    MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience:

    Minimum

    3+ years of hands-on experience

    in

    HR Operations / Payroll / HR Shared Services

    role.
  • Payroll Expertise:

    Strong working knowledge of

    end-to-end payroll processing

    , including salary structuring, deductions, incentives, arrears, LOP, overtime, and full & final settlements.
  • Statutory Compliance:

    Sound knowledge and practical exposure in handling

    PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity

    , and other statutory compliances, including filings, challans, audits, and inspections.
  • Attendance & Leave Management:

    Experience in managing

    biometric attendance systems

    , shift rosters, leave policies, regularizations, and attendance reconciliation.
  • Exit Management:

    Proven experience in handling

    employee exit formalities

    , resignation processing, notice period tracking, NOC clearance, and issuance of relieving and experience letters.
  • HRMS & Payroll Systems:

    Hands-on experience in using

    HR Payroll and Attendance Management Software / HRMS

    with strong data accuracy and system discipline.
  • Advanced Excel Skills:

    Excellent proficiency in

    Advanced Excel

    including

    VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, data analysis, MIS reporting, and dashboards

    .
  • Reporting & MIS:

    Ability to prepare and analyze

    HR and payroll MIS reports

    such as headcount, attrition, payroll cost, leave balances, and statutory reports.
  • Compliance & Audit Exposure:

    Experience in supporting

    internal and external HR audits

    , ensuring documentation accuracy and statutory adherence.
  • Communication Skills:

    Strong

    verbal and written communication skills

    to effectively coordinate with employees, management, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Process Orientation:

    High attention to detail with a strong understanding of

    HR policies, SOPs, labor laws

    , and compliance-driven environments.
  • Interpersonal Skills:

    Employee-centric approach with the ability to handle payroll and statutory queries professionally and confidentially.
  • System & Data Accuracy:
