HR Manager

Position: HR Manager – Plant

Location: Uluberia, Howrah

Experience: 8+ years in HR (preferably in manufacturing/plant operations)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee all HR and administrative functions at our client Uluberia plant. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth plant operations, fostering a positive work environment, and acting as the “eyes and ears” of the company on the ground. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, problem solver, and trusted link between management and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day HR activities at the plant to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Act as a bridge between management and staff, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure manpower availability and resource management in coordination with department heads.
• Monitor attendance, leave management, and compliance with labour laws.
• Support plant administration functions as required (security, housekeeping, canteen, transport, etc.).
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a collaborative work culture.
• Prepare and maintain HR reports for management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR, with at least 3–5 years in a plant or manufacturing setup.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and industrial relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
