Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Calicut, Kerala

Experience: 1- 2 years

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all HR operations, policies, and strategies aligned with business goals within the FMCG division. The role involves handling end-to-end HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and statutory compliance, ensuring a high-performing, engaged, and compliant workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Lead recruitment for all FMCG roles across departments and regions.

Partner with department heads to understand manpower requirements and create hiring plans.

Ensure onboarding and induction programs are effectively executed.

2. Performance Management & Employee Development

Drive the performance appraisal process and ensure timely goal setting and review.

Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance employee capability.

Implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) where necessary.

3. Employee Engagement & Retention

Design and implement engagement initiatives to foster motivation and reduce attrition.

Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and engagement surveys.

Address grievances and maintain a positive work culture.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

Oversee payroll processing, attendance, and leave management with accuracy.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (ESI, PF, gratuity, etc.).

Maintain updated employee records and HR documentation.

5. Strategic HR & Business Partnering

Work closely with management to align HR strategy with business objectives.

Provide insights and analytics on HR metrics (attrition, absenteeism, headcount, etc.).

Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

1–2 years of HR experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.

Strong understanding of HR operations, labor laws, and compliance.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools.
