Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Koduvally, Calicut

Industry Preference: FMCG (Preferred)

Experience: 2–3 Years

Role Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions with a strong focus on policy implementation, employee relations, compliance, and operational HR support. The role requires hands-on experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments, ensuring HR processes align with organizational goals and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Policy Implementation

  • Implement, monitor, and ensure compliance with company HR policies, procedures, and SOPs across departments.
  • Regularly review HR policies and recommend updates as per labor laws and organizational needs.
  • Ensure consistent policy communication and adherence at all levels of the organization.

2. Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for operational, sales, and managerial roles.
  • Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring plans.
  • Oversee onboarding, induction, and probation confirmation processes.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Foster a positive work culture, discipline, and professional conduct across the organization.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.

4. Performance Management & Compliance

  • Support performance appraisal processes and ensure timely execution.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including attendance, leave management, PF, ESI, and other labor laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR MIS reports, and documentations

5. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal or external training programs.
  • Support skill development initiatives, especially for sales and field staff in FMCG environments.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Experience in FMCG or high-volume workforce environments (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle employee issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.

Education & Experience

  • MBA / MSW in Human Resources or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in HR operations.
  • FMCG industry exposure will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
