Job Description

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the manufacturing unit. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, statutory compliance, and HR policy implementation. The role demands a proactive individual capable of maintaining a positive work culture, ensuring workforce stability, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Plan and execute manpower requirements as per production and departmental needs.
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment, selection, and induction of employees.
  • Maintain an effective onboarding program for new hires.

2. Employee Relations & Welfare

  • Maintain harmonious industrial relations and handle grievances of workers and staff.
  • Conduct regular employee engagement and welfare activities.
  • Act as liaison between management and employees to ensure smooth communication.

3. Performance Management

  • Implement and monitor the company’s performance appraisal system.
  • Work with department heads to identify high performers and training needs.
  • Develop strategies for retention and motivation.

4. Compliance & Statutory Management

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws (ESI, PF, Factory Act, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Maintain all statutory registers and records as required.
  • Liaise with government authorities during audits and inspections.

5. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and organize training programs for workers and staff.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and safety awareness.

6. HR Policy & Administration

  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and disciplinary actions.
  • Oversee contractor and labor management for the plant.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR / MBA (HR) / Diploma in Industrial Relations.
  • 5–10 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and factory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
