Job Description

Role Overview: Amico Chits Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our human capital aligns with our mission and supports our continued growth and commitment to employee well-being. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, ethical, and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of HR best practices within the Indian financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles across the organization, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating selection.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition and integration for new hires.
  • Maintain robust multiple sourcing channels to attract competent talent, especially for branch operations and collection teams.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment aligned with Amico Chits' values of integrity and customer-first.
  • Address employee queries, concerns, and grievances effectively and empathetically.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction.
  • Act as a liaison between management and employees to ensure open communication channels.
  • HR Administration & Compliance:
  • Ensure strict adherence to all Indian labour laws and regulations relevant to the financial services/chit fund industry.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (physical and digital).
  • Oversee payroll inputs and coordination, leave management, and attendance tracking.
  • Manage employee benefits administration (e.g., PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory and non-statutory benefits).
  • Performance Management:
  • Assist in developing and implementing performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs.
  • Facilitate performance improvement discussions where necessary.
  • Training & Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, particularly for front-line staff and collection executives.
  • Support career development initiatives within the organization.
  • Policy Development & Implementation:
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure they are current, fair, and legally compliant.
  • Communicate policies effectively to all employees.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in HR is highly preferred.
  • Experience: [Specify range, e.g., 3-5 years] of progressive HR experience, preferably within the financial services (NBFC, Microfinance, or Chit Fund) sector in India.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, Payment of Wages Act, Gratuity Act, etc.).
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil (both written and verbal) are essential. Knowledge of other regional languages would be an asset.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and empathetically with all levels of employees and external stakeholders.
  • Ethical Conduct: High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information with utmost professionalism.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address HR challenges effectively.
  • Adaptability & Proactivity: Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and proactively identify and address HR needs.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various departments.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS/HRM software.
  • Financial Acumen (Desired): Basic understanding of budgeting and cost management related to HR functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
