Job Description

The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function at Achyuta Public School, ensuring the effective management of recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational culture. The role demands a proactive and disciplined leader who can align HR practices with the school’s goals of academic excellence, operational efficiency, and ethical integrity.

  • Plan and execute hiring strategies for academic and non-academic roles.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment cycle — job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Ensure recruitment aligns with school quality standards and timelines.
  • Build a strong database of potential candidates, especially for teaching positions.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation as per statutory norms.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, CBSE norms, and institutional HR policies.
  • Draft and implement policies related to attendance, leave, conduct, and performance.
  • Manage payroll coordination, contracts, and other HR-related administration.
  • Implement performance appraisal systems and ensure fair evaluations.
  • Address staff grievances promptly and professionally.
  • Promote a healthy work environment with discipline, motivation, and transparency.
  • Conduct periodic staff meetings, feedback sessions, and welfare initiatives.
  • Identify training needs for teachers and staff in coordination with academic leadership.
  • Organize orientation programs, professional development workshops, and HR awareness sessions.
  • Partner with management to develop HR strategies that support institutional goals.
  • Monitor manpower planning, retention, and succession planning.
  • Uphold the school’s values and ensure ethical conduct across all departments.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and CBSE institutional compliance.
  • Excellent communication in English and Tamil (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS tools, and digital documentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
