Role & responsibilities Recruit and hire employees Onboard and train new hires Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts Handle payroll and administer benefits Monitor performance and conduct appraisals Ensure legal and policy compliance Develop and enforce HR policies Promote workplace safety Support employee development and engagement Preferred candidate profile Experience in the gems, jewellery, or luxury goods sector Skilled in recruiting artisans, designers, sales, and back-office staff Knowledge of labour laws relevant to factory and retail operations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience in employee engagement and retention strategies Ability to manage training programs for karigars and sales teams Proficient in payroll, attendance systems, and HR software Understanding of traditional work culture and family-run business environments Familiarity with regional languages (e.g., Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi) Bachelors or Masters degree in HR or related field
