Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end salary processing, including payroll administration, salary reconciliation, and statutory deductions.
Ensure strict compliance with all applicable statutory regulations (e.g., Minimum Wages Act, Provident Fund, ESI, Labor Welfare) and timely submission of statutory reports.
Lead and implement employee engagement initiatives and programs to boost morale, retention, and workplace culture.
Oversee day-to-day HR operations such as attendance management, leave processing, onboarding, exit formalities, and employee records maintenance.
Collaborate with Finance and Compliance teams to reconcile payroll and statutory payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Provide guidance and support to line managers on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations matters.
Monitor HR metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management to drive data-backed decisions.
Drive continuous process improvements in payroll and HR administration to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate training and development programs in collaboration with Learning & Development teams.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in HR roles with demonstrated expertise in payroll management and statutory compliance.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll systems, and statutory requirements in India.
Proven experience in employee engagement and HR operations management.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency with HRIS, payroll software, and Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities effectively.
